YOUTH SERVICES OUTREACH SPECIALIST
A full time Outreach Specialist position is available to promote Gateway’s Youth and Young Adult Programs to existing and potential sources. Responsibilities include:
· promoting Gateway youth programs through sales-oriented personal contact,
· establishing and maintaining relationships with referral sources,
· acting as a liaison between Gateway and the juvenile court system,
· pursuing and evaluating internal and external leads,
· coordinating requests for speaking engagements, and
· preparing marketing activity reports
Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Juvenile Justice or Human Services field; understanding of/experience with the Juvenile court system; adolescent drug and alcohol treatment knowledge; computer literacy; strong verbal and written communication skills; public speaking and effective time management skills; and a valid driver’s license with a favorable record. Master’s degree preferred.
