Monday – 9/23
“Study Abroad 101”
Art Gallery, 12:10-1:10 p.m.
Robyn Chotiner (Adjunct Faculty) & Bria Schneiderlochner (PSNK Student)
Learn all about the many study abroad opportunities at Penn State and how to creatively fund them.  It is possible for you to travel and study all over the world!  Bria will discuss her trip to Italy.  The event will feature desserts and refreshments with an Italian theme.  Bring your lunch.

Monday – 9/23
South Korea Class Lecture
Engineering 134, 4 p.m.
Dr. Young Han Bae, Associate Professor of Project and Supply Chain Management, will be presenting on his experiences in South Korea in Dr. Rujirutana Mandhachitara’s business class.
The lecture is open to visitors.

Tuesday – 9/24
“My Peruvian Experience”
Science 140, 12:10-1:15 p.m.
Sairam Tanuboddi (PSNK Student)
An intern this summer in Peru, Sairam will discuss his experiences in the city of Lima including the challenges the population has with water and transportation and shares his immersion into Peruvian culture. A trip to Machu Picchu is an exciting part of this presentation.  Samples of Peruvian cuisine will be offered.

Visit with Melba Amador, PSNK Study Abroad representative, and Matt Lockaby, Campus Associate for Education Abroad, to learn more about the numerous opportunities for trips abroad.  Students, faculty and staff who have questions about programs should take advantage of this opportunity.

“Brunch without Borders”
Art Gallery, 10:30-11:45 a.m.

A multi-faceted event that includes open discussion on global topics and features VR experiences from the Country of Focus, South Korea.  Special treats will be provided from a Pittsburgh Korean Bakery (Sumi’s Cakery) as well as International Cuisine.  Limited Space and RSVP required.  See Student Affairs or a member of the International committee for tickets (free) to this event.
