The Banquet Houseperson will set up, break down, and service all meeting rooms.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Set up all meeting rooms according to specifications of client.
  • Break down all meeting room where meetings have concluded and return to storage closet.
  • Adheres to all hotel security procedures to ensure guest safety.
  • Keeps meeting rooms doors closed to assure noise does not disturb other guests.
  • Responds to all guest and client requests promptly and efficiently.
  • Works with other hotel departments to provide exceptional guest and client services.
  • Supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water.
  • Maintain established cleaning schedules of meeting rooms and ballrooms.
  • Operates hotel freight elevator in prescribed manner to ensure safe and efficient set up of rooms.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.

Requirements:
Required Skills and Requisites
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Service orientation. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
  • Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and serviceware.
  • Possess strong communication skills.
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Prior hospitality/serving experience preferred.
