Assist Project Manager in design and solution of engineering problems, preparation of reports, economic and technical feasibility studies, and studies aimed at evaluating alternative systems, equipment, materials or engineering methods.

Perform field testing of soils, concrete, observation testing of water, sewer mains, and manholes.

Provide clear and concise documentation of all construction project activities and quantities.

Cloud Network Architect

Your mission is to work with Oracle’s largest ISV partners on migration strategies to move their intellectual property software and to develop their next generation SaaS offerings on the Oracle Cloud.

Quality Technician - Bridgeville, PA

QUALITY TECHNICIAN - Bridgeville, PA 

2nd shift - 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm 

PRIMARY DUTIES 

• Based on working knowledge of all machinery within area, perform a diversified range of moderately complex tasks related to the preparation of specimens by instrumental methods. Analyses consist of several complex steps, including type correction standards, and are completed under moderate supervision. Inspect test specimens for acceptable quality criteria, rejecting poor quality test specimens, and requesting replacement samples from internal customers as required. Prepare test specimens for analysis using various equipment.
• Perform physical/analytical tests to ensure quality control using various methods including ICP/OES (primary) Microtrac, Sieve Analysis, Sample Preparation, and Combustion Analysis (C,S, N, O, H).
• Perform prescribed routine preventative maintenance checks, corrective maintenance and make adjustments as required on various sample preparation machinery and auxiliary equipment. Register new test specimens into the electronic laboratory management system. Properly identify samples and retain or discard these samples according to standard operating procedure. Accurately perform analysis of furnace and product specimens. Maintain these instruments according to intervals required by SOP. Review test data and apply appropriate corrections based on certified reference material analyses or other statistical means.

PROCESS CONTROL ENGINEER - Springdale, PA

Key Responsibilities:

The Coatings Engineering Department provides project support, computerized process control, and integration engineering services.  Our engineers leverage their expertise and knowledge of computer process control systems and automation across multiple facilities. As a member of this department you will be working in a team environment on process control automation projects mainly for batch and semi-batch type operations. The PPG Coatings Engineering process control group has standardized on Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) systems.

Essential Job Duties:

Design, implement, test, and startup of computerized control strategies for applications in PPG resin and coatings manufacturing processes.

Develop high quality, well-tested and documented process control system software and hardware to meet customer’s specifications:

·        I/O definition

·        Batch system control strategies

·       PLC code

·       Human Machines Interface (HMI), Graphic Displays

Participate in Process Control System checkout and Factory Acceptance Tests, including field installation check-out and commissioning of the automated process control system.

The incumbent will be closely supervised but will be expected to set individual goals established to direct his/her professional and technical development.  The incumbent is expected to develop professionally through work experience by acquiring new skills as required.

Experience and Education

Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering discipline. Computerized Process Control concentration is desirable.

Functional and Technical Skills

Experience with programming PLC, SCADA, HMI, and batching systems.  Experience with Rockwell/Allen Bradley and GE Fanuc/Intellution along with knowledge of RSLogix5000 (Control Logix Family of Processors), Proficy iFix (SCADA, HMI, IGS, iBatch) is a plus.

Community Corrections Monitor - Renewal Inc

This position is responsible for supervising the movement of reentrants on a twenty-four hour basis.  

Individual will maintain building security and reentrant accountability.  

Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining order within the facility by enforcing rules and regulations, performing headcounts, search and seizure, urinalysis collection and testing, alcolyser screening, detaining reentrants if necessary, reentrant processing, reentrant escorts, use of NIK Narcotics Identification System tests, use of Drug Ionizer and assist with K-9 unit if necessary.  

Community Correction Monitors will also be required to work closely with local law enforcement agencies, the Allegheny County Jail, Pennsylvania Department of Corrections and Federal Bureau of Prisons.
