IT Job Fair at Highmark

IT and Strategic Operations to hold job fair in Pittsburgh on Thursday, Feb. 2
Job Fair takes place in the Penn Avenue Place Atrium and Auditorium from 4:30-8:30 p.m. Employees who refer candidates get an opportunity to win a Kindle.
(January 25, 2012) Highmark has exciting opportunities for entry-level candidates and skilled professionals in Information Technology (IT) and Strategic Operations (SO).
If you know someone with the required skills who wants to join a market leader, direct them to this event in the Penn Avenue Place Atrium and Auditorium in Pittsburgh on Thursday, Feb. 2, from 4:30-8:30 p.m.  Be sure to ask them to bring their resume.
Highmark employees who refer candidates will be entered into a prize drawing for an Amazon Kindle e-reader. To enter, simply ask your candidate to list you as their reference when they sign in at the event.

The American Red Cross of the PA Heartland Chapter provides Red Cross services in Cameron, Clearfield, Elk, and Jefferson Counties.
The Chapter has unpaid internship opportunities available throughout the year, which can be molded to fit the needs of students in most areas of studies.
Internship possibilities can include financial development; business partnership building; volunteer recruitment, training, and retention; marketing; special event coordination; and community relations to name a few.

The KASE FCU is looking for a motivated employee to assist with establishing goals and objectives for the Credit Union, implement policies, provide leadership, direction, and guidance for activities, analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of operations, develop and implement marketing goals and objectives, and more.

Jr. IT Business Analyst
*6 months-1 year BA exp OR recent graduate with excellent communication and organizational skills*
 
On a daily basis, the Jr. IT Business Analysts will have the following primary responsibilities:
- Elicit business requirements from business users and subject matter experts
- Define and document requirements
- Analyze and prioritize requirements
- Write functional specifications
- Model the requirements/specifications
- Perform business process design in conjunction with operations teams
- Lead requirements validation and traceability analysis
- Manage scope and requirements throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead development of common standards and tools
- Assist in operational rollout and support
-The Business Analyst serves as the principal conduit for managing system requirements between the business and the software development team throughout the duration of a project.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
1-2 years in the capacity as an IT Business Analyst, speciically with the responsibility to gather, analyze, document, and validate the needs of the business stakeholders
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Ability to change direction as needed and still meet project deliverables and deadlines
Exceptional oral and written communication skills
Must be a team player who works well with technical and non-technical resources
Ability to work independently and take strategic direction from executive management
Ability to see tasks through to completion without significant guidance
Highly detail oriented

There is an immediate opportunity that I would like to share with you.
There is an opening for a PC roll-out technician located in downtown Pittsburgh. Some travel will be required to go to their various offices.
Pay is very respectable for this position.

There is also another position, a direct hire in the Monroeville area for a Network Administrator. Salary is up to $55K. You need to have server experience not just support. Actual setup and config as well as admin is a must.
