· Establish and maintain effective working relationship with all MYCS consumers, striving to exceed their expectations for service, quality and individuality. Individuals shall be recognized for their valued role within the community.
· Assist in the development, planning, implementation and evaluation of customized individual or small group activities and instruction necessary to teach and expand skills for vocational readiness and employment-related social connections, promoting the participant’s self-determination and decision-making. Such activities can include, but are not limited to, resume writing, compiling job history information, mock interviewing, job searching, etc.
· Demonstrate proper judgment and decision making skills when relating to participants, their families and team members as specified by program/agency policies; consistently prese4nt a professional demeanor in regard to dress and behavior.
· With input from Supported Employment Specialist, assist participants in formulating an carrying out goals. Goals should be directed toward competitive, integrated positions that are consistent with the principles and procedures of recovery and evidenced-based supported employment.
