Private Industry Council Internship Summer 2023


PennDOT is Looking for Summer Help!

 As in years past, PennDOT will sponsor an extensive Summer Employment Program (SEP) for college students. The program runs May through August 2023 to supplement the permanent workforce.

Students will assist in completing summer maintenance work and sign upgrade services, provide maintenance and custodial services at roadside rest facilities, and perform laboring and flagging duties in maintenance organizations and highway worksites. To be eligible for consideration, candidates must be eighteen years of age, enrolled full-time in college for the next semester, and have a valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License. The hourly rate is $15.88.

PA Audit General’s Office is hiring!

The internships are remote (and intern to hire) and open until Friday, March 31st.  Current openings are for Accounting and IT 

but they have had Marketing, Communications, and HR openings in the past and anticipate those in the future as well.  The positions are also posted in NLC – 186973 and 186972

Fallingwater Internships

We also offer fall and spring semester internships for students currently enrolled in degree-granting programs. These internships are unpaid and require a commitment of 12 hours per week for 10 weeks. The Conservancy strongly encourages applications from students who are members of groups underrepresented in careers related to its mission

TEMPORARY SUMMER ROAD HELP NEEDED

Applications are being accepted for a “TEMPORARY Summer Road Worker” by the Washington Township, Board of Supervisors. Applicants must be 18 or older, have a valid PA driver’s license and pass a drug test. Job consists of manual labor. Applications may be received from the Municipal Building, 285 Pine Run Church Road, Apollo, Monday-Friday, 9 am to 4 pm. Salary commensurate with experience.
