Job Summary & Essential Functions:

  • Create and help maintain vendor contracts based upon quote information
  • Set up new vendors in business system
  • Maintain purchasing data in computer system so that it is always current
  • Populate quote information for each component
  • Support the purchasing team by identifying potential sources of material for long lead items
  • Assist in sourcing of a variety of commodity components
  • Maintain appropriate lead times, minimums and multiples, and vendor information for all assigned parts in the system
  • Run various supporting reports for the purchasing and/or quoting departments

 

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Intermediate level in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
  • Strong math and computational skills 
  • Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail to produce quality results
  • Ability to effectively communicate in all forms with others inside and outside the organization
  • Ability to multitask effectively and adapt within a rapidly changing environment

 

Required Experience/Education/Training/Certifications:

Position Summary 

Troubleshoots, inspects, repairs, maintains, and calibrates a basic range of clinical equipment, devices, systems, and instruments.

Qualifications & Requirements 

Basic Education Requirement - Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience) in electronic, biomedical engineering or a discipline geared toward managing maintaining and repairing clinical equipment within a healthcare environment and/or equivalent of military BMET program and/or AAMI certified
