Additional Information
- Assisting in research and writing of articles, white papers and news releases.
- Building databases specific to client's channels—using several Web-based software programs on which intern will receive training.
- Social media message development for various channels and blogs
- Social media monitoring
- Evaluating earned media placements to assess quantitative/qualitative public relations impact, return on investment, etc.
- Student may be asked to participate in client meetings.
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications- Currently enrolled in a public relations/communications/marketing major-based curriculum.
- Has achieved Junior or Senior class status
- Has sound writing skills
- Is willing to work regular set times (e.g., the equivalent of at least 2-3 days at the same times each week, for the period of at least one school term)
