Achival Data Librarian Intern

DUTIES: Work in conjunction with PWSA staff to identify documentation needed to meet record retention requirements of regulatory agencies such as the Department of Environmental Protection and preserve the form and function of the Water Treatment Plant as-built documentation. 

Archive documents, maps, photos, engineering plans ect., that are required for both the Water Treatment Plant Operations and Environmental Compliance groups.

Software Engineering Intern

Summary
As a member of the technical staff, the software engineer is responsible for the design of new software products up to functional releases to customers. This includes specification reviews, development program timelines and reports, design reviews, documentation packages, and transfers to production. This engineer will also be responsible for technical support of some software products and tools currently released to customers.
Essential Functions
  1. Designs and develops software including: data analysis, graphical user interfaces, and motion control software for our products.
  2. Conducts tests to verify the implementation of new features and the proper operation of products.
  3. Uses critical thinking skills to debug problems and develop solutions to these problems.

Marketing Internship

The Downtown Greensburg Project (sub division of BIA Creative) is seeking a part-time marketing and community intern for the Fall of 2018. This internship is a minimum 10-12 hour a week unpaid position or for credit, all applicants must be a junior or senior.   • coordinating grass roots marketing efforts

  • assisting at events and planning of events such as Greensburg Craft Beer Week, and/or other special events and programs
  • general office duties such as data entry, coordination of mailings, etc.

The successful candidate will write, rewrite, and publish descriptive and procedural information in operating and technical manuals, and will also develop and administer electronic document file collections and end products.

Radiology Assistant - Highmark

Under direct physician supervision, provide patient care and perform procedures. Determine normal from abnormal imaging examinations and assess the radiographic findings to determine if immediate radiologist interpretation is needed.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Writes and dictates procedure summaries and radiology reports.
  • Provides and reviews post-procedure discharge instructions with appropriate nursing staff, patient and family members.
  • Correspond with physicians and medical practitioners regarding their patients for future procedures and postoperative.

Fall Internship Opportunity - World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh

The World Affairs Council of Pittsburgh is currently seeking creative, dedicated, and internationally

The Council’s internship program provides undergraduate students, graduate students, and recent
graduates with hands-on, real-world experiences through projects that directly correspond to its public programming efforts, as well as its global education program in area schools.

Under the direction of a supervisor, interns are given tasks that introduce them to the depths of program management and fundraising, as well as nonprofit management. In this process, professional writing and communication skills are strengthened, and lasting professional experience is gained.

Past interns have helped to research and prepare for the Council’s programs in the community and schools; compile background materials for teachers and/or students attending a Council program; contribute to research and preparation for the Council’s weekly podcast the World Affairs Report, among others.

Mental Health Worker Associate - UPMC

Purpose:

The Mental Health Worker Associate will facilitate groups, provide documentation and other patient support as requested.

Responsibilities:
