Description
A
television internship with WQED-TV provides students with a unique,
hands-on opportunity to learn how local documentaries, public affairs
and magazine style programs are produced -- from concept to actual live
and taped production. Student interns work in the field, studio and
production offices of WQED-TV.
Scope of Internship:
Student interns work with reporters and producers in the field, studio and production offices of WQED.
Qualifications
Junior and Senior college students with a background in Communications, Journalism, Broadcasting, Production or Media Studies are preferred - but not required. Students who are seeking an internship to earn college credit are also preferred. This is a part-time internship, 15 - 20 hours per week, and is not a paid position.
