PA CareerLink Fair 10/12

Jobs at Stimple & Ward Company

                    Stimple Ward & Company

It’s a new semester and we’re still looking for employees like we were earlier this year.  Last time only one person came for an interview, and she lived almost a two hour drive from the North Hills, so she declined the job.  The following are five categories of employment for which we would be interested in some of your current or previous EMET students, regardless of whether they graduated, or at least showed some interest by attending for a year or two:

  1. Part time Electrical Coil Manufacturing Internship for currently enrolled students

  1. Entry Level Production Work for former students who completed one or more years of the EMET Program

  1. Assistant Production Manager for a 3rd or 4th year student or graduate  (Job Posting in a subsequent e-mail)

  1. Entry Level  Sales Position for a soon to graduate student, or current graduate

  1.   Production Manager for an EMET graduate with 5-10 years minimum experience in an electro-mechanical production environment

Many Job and Internship opportunities - Career Fair 10/13

REMINDER: one of the best local job fairs of the year will happen VIRTUALLY on Wednesday, October 13 with opportunities for soon-to-be graduates from all PSNK programs.

Over 100 employers and graduate schools!  List is attached.

This is VIRTUAL so you can sign up for interviews on your own schedule and attend on your own device!

CURRENT EMPLOYEE RECOMMENDATION

Erin Paul, Current Lead DSP, Wesley Family Services

“I’ve been working with [Wesley] Family Services for almost 10 years… I originally came to Family Services because of their flexible work schedules and ability to work longer shifts. I can get 40+ hours in a shorter amount of days, spending more time at home with my family. …What you put into caring for the individuals, you really get back in feeling that you make a big impression on their life. You get to be the person they can’t wait to tell how their day was. You get to be that person that gets to share in a special outing that they will remember forever. IDD staff make such an impact on the individuals’ lives, you get to be the one that makes it a positive impact! … I would recommend a job in the IDD Residential field to anyone with a big heart!”
