Purpose

Duties and Responsibilities
·         Work with our payroll & benefits supervisor to learn all aspects of payroll administration;
·         Develop a self-help guide for our payroll process so anyone could administer payroll processing if needed;
·         Administer all incoming and outgoing benefit changes;
·         Reconcile benefit deductions to insurance carrier invoices to ensure accuracy;
·         Review and establish confidential employee files as part of the onboarding process;
·         Assist with managing all aspects of recruiting, including interview scheduling and logistics;
·         Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Work Experience
  • Enrolled in a college degree program majoring in Human Resources Management;
  • Prefer candidates that are either juniors or seniors;
  • Proficiency in judgment and problem-solving skills;
  • Well-developed communication skills to work with individuals from multiple departments and locations;
  • Ability to understand the necessity of complete confidentiality with human resources data;
  • Ability to demonstrate proficiency with PCs and in using current Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and ERP software a plus;
  • Must possess typing skills for accurate data entry;

Immediate Paid Marketing/Business Internship Opportunity

Keystone Blind Association has an immediate internship opportunity for a Marketing or Business student.  Keystone is a private, non-profit organization that serves the blind and disabled throughout Pennsylvania.  Part of our mission is to provide employment opportunities to the blind and disabled through the state and federal set-aside programs.  I recently started working on development of new products that our employees could manufacture, assemble or package.  We are looking for someone to assist in research, development, accounting and marketing efforts at our administrative offices in Sharon, PA. Responsible for direct supervision and implementation of camp treatment plan goals for 1-2 children with autism and related disorders in a variety of summer camp indoor and outdoor settings.  Substitute positions float to various campsites as needed.  Travel reimbursement is provided for substitutes.
Responsibilities
  • Ability and desire to effectively interact with children with special needs as well as typical children
  • Requires active play with children, active walking to/from daily activities, and daily time supervising children from within a swimming pool
  • Provide direct one-to-one therapeutic interventions under the supervision of a master's level camp WISP site supervisor and psychologist
  • Cooperation and collaboration with regular camp staff and specialized camp counselors
  • Communicate regularly with camp WISP Site Supervisor, and psychologist regarding their assigned child's progress and issues during the duration of camp
  • Communicate with assigned children's families

  • Assist children in developing social skills and facilitate development of peer interactions over the course of camp
