Management Associate – Information Technology/Computer Science
The Management Associate - IT is an entry level position for recent college graduates. Through formal and on-the-job training related to individual assignments, Management Associates build business and management skills while they prepare for successful futures.
The Management Associate IT may work in any of the following areas:
Support networks such as Ethernet and LAN and servers such as UNIX, Web and Windows.
Configure, troubleshoot, install, evaluate, and support software on PC’s and end user support.
Administering security to networks, software, and systems within the U. S. Steel environment.
Provide daily detailed support of all IT networks and PC’s affiliated with running a global business as well as identifying and implementing improvements to the current infrastructure.
Preparation, administration and tracking of Appropriation and Authorization Requests.
Writing or editing code.
Assisting in business processes.
Supporting functions within our Business Service Center
