Camp Wilhelm Campground


Camp Wilhelm Campground offers an internship program to students working towards a degree within the field of parks and recreation. The internship will provide a comprehensive experience in facilitating special events, facility management, clerical work, as well as marketing and reservations. 

Exact hours Intern will vary depending on weekly activities and special events. Hours will include evenings, holidays, and weekends. Private Room and Board will be provided with meals at the snack bar. There will be $500 towards tuition and possibility for hourly income with additional campground duties available.

Paid Summer Internship in program planning and management

Pittsburgh Indoor Sports Arena proud to offer a unique paid internship for the summer of 2020.

The Summer Day Camp Coordinator will oversee most aspects of programming, and camper relations for our summer sports camp 2020.

Duties include activity planning, organization and program management.

Responsibilities include managing camper information, working within a budget, maintaining camp resources and supplies, and interacting with parents, campers, staff and management as needed.

This position is approximately 10 weeks long. Monday – Friday from 8am – 4pm. We are looking for an individual that has a passion for sports and children.

Electrical-Mechanical Designer/Drafter

The Spang Engineered Solutions Division of Spang & Company has an opening for an Electrical-Mechanical Designer/Drafter at our Pittsburgh, PA location (RIDC Park – O’Hara Twp.). Spang Engineered Solutions provides custom inductive components in an array of industries. We offer a portfolio of innovative tools, along with decades of expertise, providing high-quality, turnkey solutions for even the most challenging inductor designs. Spang & Company has facilities in China, Hong Kong, and the US.

The ideal candidate will provide electro-mechanical design and drafting support to the product design team. Other job responsibilites include:
• Produce drawings and documents using SolidWorks software.
• Perform electro-mechanical engineering design calculations.
• Compile bills of materials by submitting requests for quotes to suppliers and working alongside purchasing.
• Design fixtures and gauges used by quality control and production.
• Work with plant personnel to collect project information and communicate findings both verbally and in writing.
• Work as a team member on various projects.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications include an Associate Degree in Drafting or Engineering Technology with 3-5 years’ experience with general mechanical or electrical design and drafting projects or a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering Technology with 1-year experience.
