Job Description
The Front-End Web Developer will work closely with the Product Management Team to implement best-in-class user interfaces on Web and Mobile Web properties. He/she will participate in projects focusing primarily on the presentation layer.

· Work with back-end developers, product managers, and designers to implement pixel perfect user interfaces
· Work with advertisers and agencies to develop engaging advertising experiences
· Stay abreast of all new front-end web development technologies and integrate them within AccuWeather.com web and mobile web site to further enhance usability and efficiency
BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or other related field
· Minimum of 3years web development experience in a production environment
· Minimum of 3years HTML, CSS, JavaScript experience;
· Applied knowledge of HTML5/CSS3
· Familiarity with Browser specificities, cross-browser testing, and alternate stylesheets
· Familiarity with general web development techniques/concepts: semantic markup, SEO techniques, xml sitemaps, htaccess files, robots.txt, etc.
· Familiarity with open source JavaScript libraries such as JQuery, Zepto, and Bing Maps API
· Passionate about web standards and pixel-prefect UIs
