Veterans Job Fair at the University of Pittsburgh

It is with great pleasure that I announce that the University of Pittsburgh’s Career Development and Placement Assistance Office and the VA Regional Office are partnering to host a Veteran’s Job Fair on Tuesday April 30^th. I am reaching out to let you know that your institutions’ Veteran and current military students are welcome and ENCOURAGED to attend. There is no cost for students and alumni. We simply will require business attire and a current resume for admission. In addition the first 200 attendees will receive a free padfolio!

The day will begin at 11am with an employer panel discussion that all students should find informative and beneficial. The panel will focus on the transition from a military to civilian workforce and will include recruiters from military friendly employers. At noon the fair will open up with 35 employers attending. We are carefully selecting employers who have shown a willingness to hire veterans, have professional positions (internships and full-time) available, and represent a broad set of majors/industries.
