MARKETING INTERN:
Gray Matter Systems is a leading provider in
the software industry throughout North America. For over 20
years, Gray Matter Systems, has delivered cutting edge data management,
operations supervision, and process automation solutions to manufacturers, utilities,
oil and gas companies, food/beverage, and water/waste water management
systems. GMS has an immediate opening in
Sewickley, PA for a motivated Marketing Intern to assist the Director of
Marketing.
Duties and Responsibilties:

Content creation
o Write press releases based on new business and events
held by Gray Matter Systems
o Develop success stories
o Connect with current customers to do updates on
current projects
o Write blog posts
o Identify opportunities to place stories in
appropriate publications such as AutomationWorld.com, Automation.com, and
others
·
General
website updates
o
Create landing pages
o
Optimize pages for
search engines
·
Email marketing
o
Learn how to create and
send webinar invite and case study announcement emails
o
Social media presence
o
Increase Gray Matter
System’s presence on Twitter, Linkedin, and Facebook
·
Event management
o
Identify and invite
prospective attendees for Gray Matter events
Special knowledge, skills and abilities
required:
·
Good understanding of HTML, CSS, Photoshop, Indesign,
and email marketing principles
·
Social media (business) experience
·
Excellent analytical skills
·
Excellent decision-making skills
·
Excellent communication skills
·
An understanding of Engineering would be a plus
·
Reliable transportation to and from the Sewickley office is required.
·
Help organize any function that may come about and all other duties as
assigned
