HR INTERN:
Gray Matter Systems is a leading provider in
the software industry throughout North America.
For
over 20 years, Gray Matter Systems, has delivered cutting edge data management,
operations supervision, and process automation solutions to manufacturers,
utilities, oil and gas companies, food/beverage, and water/waste water
management systems. GMS has an immediate
opening in Sewickley, PA for a motivated HR Intern to assist the HR Director.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Assist with new hire personnel files, including collecting required
documentation.
·
Attend and assist with job fairs and special recruiting events (career
fairs)
·
Respond to all employment inquiries in a timely manner
·
Assist as needed with monthly benefits administration for both US and
Canada.
·
Assist in audit and process of monthly insurance billing
·
Assist with monthly payroll as needed including updating summary reports
and preparing files.
·
Research employment law in both US and Canada including required
documentation.
·
Assist with special projects as needed
·
Assist with training onsite and off as needed
·
Help organize any function that may come about and all other duties as assigned
Requirements:
·
Currently College Junior/Senior level pursuing Bachelor’s level degree
in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
·
Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality of all aspects of job
responsibilities
·
Excellent oral and written communications skills
·
Excellent organizational skills to attention to detail
·
Must be comfortable with Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Word,
and Excel.
·
Proven people skills
·
Cooperative attitude with team orientated disposition
