Systems Analyst at IUP



Computer Technology Systems Analyst with skills and experience in either an application development environment or systems/network administration.

Detailed Description      
Indiana University of Pennsylvania invites applications for the position of Systems Analyst (Manager 180) in Information Technology (IT) Services (www.iup.edu/ITSupportCenter).

Typical responsibilities include participation in the analysis, selection, design, development, implementation, documentation, administration, maintenance and support of a variety of information technology systems and services. Responsible for researching and resolving information technology problems and issues directed to the IT Support Center. Works closely with other units to provide production support for all information systems.

Preferred candidates will possess skills and experience in either an application development environment (object-oriented programming, relational databases, business intelligence solutions, C, Oracle, Oracle development tools, .NET, Java and large-scale package software such as Ellucian Banner) or systems/network administration (system administration, scripting, system security, identity management, network configuration/maintenance and monitoring).

Position Qualifications  
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field is required along with 6 months experience in either application development or systems/network administration. Candidates must possess effective written and verbal communication skills and perform well in the interview(s).
