The Pennsylvania State Civil Service Commission would appreciate your assistance in promoting Commonwealth titles to students seeking employment. Every two weeks the Commission adds and removes titles for testing on the State Civil Service website: www.scsc.state.pa.us.
Students earning their associate or bachelor degree may begin to apply for civil service titles with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania if they are within 7 months of graduation. Those earning an associate’s degree would need to have completed 45 credits at the time of application and those earning a bachelor degree would have to have completed 90 credits at the time of application.
