Join other Penn Staters in Western Pennsylvania at the Nittany Networking Event on Wednesday, Nov. 14, at the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
This event is a great opportunity to share the Penn State spirit of giving while making new connections and enhancing existing relationships. Tour the award-winning, LEED-certified “green” warehouse with Ivy Ero, director of educational programs, and Chris West, regional coordinator of the Southwest Pennsylvania Food Security Partnership.
In addition to the tour and networking opportunities, enjoy bread and soup served in a ceramic bowl—a keepsake from the event. All Penn Staters are welcome and participation is free, with a food or monetary donation suggested. Advance registration is required.
The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank distributes more than 27 million pounds of food per year from its 94,000 square-foot warehouse.
Wednesday, Nov. 14 6:00–8:00 p.m. Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
