Announcing an exclusive career event for Penn State Engineering & Engineering Technology students:
Aerotech Engineering Job Shadow Event
Monday, November 12, 2012 from 10:00 am - Noon at Aerotech in the RIDC Park off Route 28 (101 Zeta Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15228 [Blawnox]).
This is an opportunity offered by Aerotech just for Penn State engineering and engineering technology students** to tour the Aerotech facility, meet with their professional engineers, and be considered for job opportunities after graduation.
The requirements for students to participate in the event are:
1. A Graduating Senior (2012-13) with preferably a 3.7 GPA (3.2+ GPA will be considered) seeking a full time job opportunity with Aerotech upon graduation. (Aerotech may open the visit up to Junior level students for Co-Op/Internships depending on the number of resumes received. Juniors should prepare your resumes and wait for more information.)2. Students must be receiving a BS or MS Degree in EMET/EE/CE/CS/ME.
3. Students with a 3.2 GPA or higher are invited, but the higher GPAs will be accepted first.
4. Students must also be eligible to work in the US without the need for future sponsorship.
Deadlines:
· Interested students must submit their resumes by October 22, 2012 to Stephanie DeMaro at PSUCareerWest@psu.edu, by October 22, 2012. Resumes will be forwarded to Aerotech for review.· Ten students will be selected by Aerotech and be invited by October 29, 2012.
· PSU Job Shadowing will begin in the Aerotech Main Conference Room Monday, November 12, 2012 from 10:00 am – Noon. (Students will provide their own transportation).
**Students from the Penn State Beaver, DuBois, Fayette, Greater Allegheny, New Kensington, Shenango, Altoona, Erie and University Park will have the opportunity to submit their resumes to assure the number of interested students.
