Description: Application of basic financial concepts and accounting principles to include but not limited to: evaluation and implementation of investment and financing opportunities, compiling and analyzing financial information to prepare entries to general ledger accounts; documenting business transactions; evaluation of debt offerings and equity issuances; analyzing and making recommendations regarding the accounting for various unique transactions; collecting and summarizing financial information for the preparation of federal, state, and local reports and tax returns. Activities will include research, analysis, summarizing and presenting results, and making recommendations to management.
Qualifications: Candidates should have excellent analytical, verbal and written communications skills, be customer focused, a team player, with good time-management skills. They should also have a proficiency with Microsoft Office. Candidates should be working towards a bachelors degree in Finance or Accounting are preferred but candidates pursuing a bachelors degree in Marketing and Management will be considered as well. Candidates must have at least one summer left before graduation. Candidates must have a 3.0 gpa for consideration. Candidates must be eligible to work permanently in the United States upon graduation.
