Meet the Video Game Writers - Schell Games visiting GA campus
Invitation to an event at the Greater Allegheny campus:
I am working with faculty from our English program in an effort to assist them in garnering student interest in the English major. Our collaboration has resulted in offering a speaker series to promote their major, and I have invited two video game designers from Schell Games to speak with students about how they use their English degree in their occupation. Though this will be the main focus of their talk, any interested students, alumni, staff, and faculty are welcome to attend the session. I am sure the designers would be comfortable fielding questions outside of how they use their English degrees. I know that some IST students and one alumnus at our campus are interested in attending as an opportunity to learn more about working for Schell Games and making a couple of networking contacts.
This program will take place at the Penn State Greater Allegheny campus in Frable Building, Room 122 from 12 – 1 PM on Wednesday, February 22nd.
I will be offering pizza and beverages, so RSVPs would be helpful in terms of the catering order (though certainly not required to attend).
