2012 Summer Internship
· Applicant must be a college sophomore, junior or senior
· The internship is PART-TIME and unpaid
· Internship runs from mid-May to early August; start and end dates are negotiable
· Hours are negotiable, EIGHT hours/week minimum
EXPERIENCE OPPORTUNITIES IN:
ACCOUNTING/BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
· General bookkeeping functions including recording financial transactions, generating journal entries, and producing financial reports
· Knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Software
· Knowledge of QuickBooks Accounting Software
· Donor data entry; research and maintain files on current and possible donors
· Assist Executive Director with preparation of the annual budget
MARKETING
· Responsible for preparing marketing proposals for corporate sponsorship
· Assist with fundraising and the planning of fundraiser
· Help write/produce promotional and public service announcements
· Preparation of activities and flyers, coordination of daily events and announcements
· Help create marketing research presentations using various resource tool
