POSITION TITLE: Engineering Technician
PREVIOUS EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS: No previous employment requirements required. __________________________________________________________________________
FORMAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Mechanical Engineering Degree
Note: Employment and/or training requirements can be waived at the discretion of the company President based upon current company needs.
OPERATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. CAD modeling of customer supplied drawings and sheet metal blank development.
2. Process development, improvement and capability studies on all process in plant.
3. Manage projects for full life cycle of product.
SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide Leadership role in managing shop floor safety. Provide focus on proper, safe use of equipment in conjunction with manufacturer's recommendations.
QUALITY RESPONSIBILITIES & AUTHORITY:
1. Provide on floor audit of processes
2. Work with Quality Manager as required.
