I am reaching out to you from JPC Event Group.  We are a local sustainable catering and event planning group with a commitment to serving our guests local, seasonal cuisine by utilizing vendors, artisan farmers and purveyors {read more about our catering philosophy:  sustainable-pittsburgh-catering}.  We are currently seeking seasonal staffing for both server and bartending opportunities for events throughout Western PA.

 JPC Event Group is looking for professional, personable and experienced servers for our very busy upcoming wedding season.

We offer a very competitive hourly wage, professional atmosphere, flexible schedule and opportunities to grow within our company.

This is a part-time position and based on needs of events.

Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays and be willing to travel.

Applicants must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Venues are not accessible by public transportation.

Must be able and willing to lift up to 25 pounds.

Must be hard working, energetic and have a commitment to uncompromising quality, with a positive attitude and a professional demeanor.

Must be able to work successfully independently and as part of a team.

Server/Bartender Qualifications:

At least two years of hospitality related experience is required.

Off-premise catering experience is extremely helpful.

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Applicants must have a professional appearance, an attention to detail and a strong work ethic.

Must meet and exceed quality standards for services and customer satisfaction.

Accountability:

Arrive at scheduled start time in appropriate uniform.

Maintain a positive attitude in high stress situations.

Go the extra mile and follow through to ensure guest satisfaction.

Applicants must be able to work with diverse populations in a supportive and positive manner.

Diplomatically handle guest complaints and maintain a professional manner throughout events.
