The Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), through the Pathways Internship Program, is currently announcing
paid summer internship in the agricultural, science, technology, math,
environmental, management, business and many other fields. Our internships help
students to excel in their chosen fields.
FSIS is the public health agency in the U.S. Department
of Agriculture responsible for ensuring that the nation's commercial supply of
meat, poultry, and egg products is safe, wholesome and correctly labeled and
packaged. FSIS is involved in many areas
of food processing and food distribution; the inspection of domestic product,
imports, and exports; conducting risk assessments; and educating the public
about the importance of food safety. For
