Internship Description:

The Marketing and Communications Intern will assist in the daily

coordination of marketing and communications efforts for all three

companies. The Marketing and Communications Intern will have primary

day-to-day responsibility for assisting with social media management,

email marketing, event planning and promotion, content writing, SEO, and

graphic design. Ideal candidates will have superior analytical, writing,

communication, creative, and organizational skills.

Internship Tasks:

You will be helping the marketing team with:

• Implementation of marketing plans, including product positioning, campaign strategies, and market strategy insights
• Assist in monitoring and managing social media accounts on a variety of platforms
• Manage email marketing campaigns including campaign creation, list management and reporting
• Design sales and promotional materials (e.g., brochures, sell sheets, mailers) for use at events, retail locations and other company activities
• Assist with internal communication and announcements
• Maintain clip archive with relevant media placements and features
• Generate reporting mechanisms as needed in regard to communication impact, ROI, etc
• Content writing for webpages, newsletters, blog posts and email campaigns

Requirements:

• University/College Student (third or fourth year student or recent graduate)
• Students with majors in Business or Marketing are preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work independently, and on a team
• Must be technically savvy
• Must have the ability to multi-task
• Creative, self-starter who has the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
• Positivity, flexibility, and time management ability necessary to succeed in a performance-driven environment

Bonus Points:

If you have any type of experience working with:

•  A CMS such as WordPress
•  HubSpot, and familiarity with InBound Marketing
•  HTML/CSS
•  Adobe InDesign, PhotoShop, etc.
