Now Hiring: Plenty of Internship Opportunities Open for 2014 Season
Entering their 13th season in the Frontier League, the Washington Wild Things are currently in search of applicants for internships to begin in May of 2014. The various positions provide interested and qualified candidates an opportunity to gain experience with an historic independent league baseball team. The Wild Things season runs from mid-May until the beginning of September.
The Washington Wild Things Spring/Summer Internship Program is a hands-on work experience that allows young and aspiring men and women to apply for an opportunity to experience the everyday business operations of an independent ballclub. This hands-on work experience will allow each intern to gain valuable training in a hands-on industry by observing, participating and working in the business operations of an independent ballclub. Each individual will have the opportunity to work in specific departments of the business such as Ticket Operations, Marketing & Communications, Facility Operations and Community Outreach & Promotions, Food and Beverage and Merchandise
The internship runs from the beginning of May until the end of the season (beginning of September).
Application procedure & requirements for interested candidates:
· Candidates interested in the internship program must be available to work during the day and many weeknights and weekends throughout the season. Additionally, candidates must demonstrate the ability to make the internship their top priority for the summer months.
· Candidates are required to have their own means of transportation.
· Candidates are required to have their own housing in the area.
