The LGA Municipal Internship Program is moving along on schedule – municipalities are currently submitting projects competing for selection in this year’s LGA Municipal Internship Program. We expect 19 paid internships to be available and the selected sites and project descriptions will be available on the Academy website on March 7, 2014.
The Municipal Internship Fair will be held March 21, 2014 at Hamburg Hall on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University. The Internship Fair is open to all currently enrolled graduate and undergraduate students (students may pre-register here; walk-ins also welcome). At the Fair, students will meet representatives of selected municipalities to learn more about the projects and to provide information about their qualifications. From there, the municipalities will make the selection and establish a start date with the successful candidates. Students unable to attend the fair may e-mail a PDF of their resume to pbarroso@
