Communications Assistant – CorpComm & Investor Relations

Job Description

The Communications Assistant role provides support for members of EQT’s Corporate Communications and Investor Relations groups. Must thrive in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision, and quickly comprehend and act on changing priorities as necessary.  Exhibit an ability to maintain confidentiality, make sound decisions in routine business matters, and possess superior communication skills. This role will also work closely with functional groups, such as Government Relations, Legal, and Environment, Health & Safety.   
 Primary responsibilities include:
 Multi-Team Coordinator
  • Investor Relations: analyst meeting coordination & logistics; analyst presentation formatting; prepare & update executive “one-on-one” booklets; coordinate quarterly & annual earnings filings; maintenance of all intranet documents for accuracy
  • Corporate Communications:  news monitoring and weekly media reports; data gathering for and formatting of executive presentations; key liaison for board of director meetings’ presentations/logistics/coordination; maintain ad placement calendar; maintain collateral inventory; internal and external web updates
  • Community Affairs: maintain accurate records for donation requests received; manage donation decline/acceptance letters; process payments for approved donation requests; participate in community events & open houses
  • Manage on-site logistics for CEO presentations/engagements
  • Maintain accurate premium inventory; oversee fulfillment activities
  • Maintain press release and regulatory filing document library
  • Maintain graphics and photography library
  • Provide crisis communications support as key member of CorpComm team
 Administrative (team of twelve)
  • Prepare and submit monthly expense reports for CorpComm/IR team
  • Prepare procurement card reconciliations for all team members
  • Act as primary liaison to accounts payable for vendor invoicing
  • Overall coordination of three departmental budgets, including monthly reconciliations and annual budget process
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and prepare detailed itineraries
  • Prepare; proofread and distribute confidential, time-sensitive materials
  • Manage time entry system; maintain team calendars; coordinate External Affairs calendar

  • Work ownership and accountability; work independently as a team contributor
  • Strong attention to detail; excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Superior PowerPoint skills; proficiency in full Microsoft Outlook suite
  • Ability and willingness to work some early mornings, evenings, and weekend days
Required Experience
  • 2-year degree required; additional college credits preferred
  • 7+ years administrative and business experience; experience in energy sector helpful
