In operation for nearly 20 years, the W.A.N.T. consortium (Westmoreland Assists Native Talent) is a unique collaborative effort between the local colleges and universities, Career Link, chambers of commerce, and economic development entities in the Westmoreland County region. The focus of the job fair is to bring together students, alumni, and other community job seekers with employers offering internships and full-time employment.
Some of the employers who have registered to date include: Aquion Energy, Adelphoi Village, Aerotech, Dollar Bank, Enterprise Holdings, Excela Health, Elliott, Family Behavioral Resources, First Commonwealth Bank. First Energy, General Carbide, Kennametal, NHS Human Services, PennDOT, Prudential , Seven Springs and the Stern Center for Developmental and Behavioral Health.

There is no fee to attend the event. A link to employers attending is also available at the web site. The pre-registration deadline is February 18, 2013.
