- Transitioning from military to education to the civilian job market
- Best practices for higher education professionals to serve the student veteran community
- Creating successful transition programs for veterans
- Interviewing and networking, and how to be successful at career fairs
- Understanding VA benefits, support services, and other available resources
- Serving as an advocate for veteran-friendly policies and practices
- Recognizing the impact that military service can have on a veteran’s life
- Among many other topics
The conference features several nationally recognized individuals from prestigious organizations to include the Wounded Warrior Project, Operation College Promise, Piton Inc. and many more, as well as several exhibitors that are dedicated to serving veterans.
This conference will focus on providing veterans and educators the tools and resources that they need to be successful. Topics to be discussed include: VA resources and benefits, best practices on college campus for administrators, veteran specific career tools, and much more! There will also be exhibitors that serve veterans throughout Pennsylvania. Each day of the conference veterans and administrators will have the opportunity to interact and share success stories.
Due to an overwhelming number of veterans registering for this event, we regretfully cannot offer any
additional free registrations to veterans. If you are a veteran and you still wish to register to attend this conference, the fee will be $50.
