Job Description
The youth ministry coordinator is responsible for the following and is not limited to the description below:
*Assist, supervise and coordinate Sunday youth activities.
*Responsible for coordinating or assisting in weekday youth activities or programs directed by the director, these include: Preteen and teenage youth groups, Boys and Girls Club, teen club and other spiritual base programs and activities of the Salvation Army.
*Responsible coordinating and assisting for the seasonal and periodic youth programs of the Salvation Army these include: Summer Camp programs, Vacation Bible School, Specialized Day Camp programs, tutoring program, Project Bundle Up, and other youth activities of the Salvation Army.
*Assist in worship services as directed by pastors
*Responsible for encouraging and aiding in the spiritual growth of the youth and young adults of the Salvation Army.
*Work with, encourage and support current leaders involve in youth activities.
*Responsible for fulfilling, replacing or assigning youth leaders to temporary position in which current leader is unable to fulfill due to absentees.
*Responsible for youth coordinating volunteers to assist or direct youth activities, approved by the director.
*Responsible for directing children, teenage and young adult actives and programs of the Salvation Army Community Center
