For
over 25 years, United Plate Glass Company, Inc. has served the
commercial and residential glass industry as a major supplier of
architectural glass products. With fabrication facilities based in
Western Pennsylvania and North Carolina, our diversified and

glass needs.
We
are currently seeking a Lean Implementation Support intern. The
candidate selected will assist with our Lean implementation activities
in the various production areas. The intern will support the completion
of Quick & Easy Kaizens identified by the employees to help reduce
the Cost of Poor Quality (remakes) and improve throughput. The intern
will learn how to manage multiple projects and interact with various
levels of the organization in a fast-paced advanced manufacturing
setting. Idea candidates will be pursuing a degree in industrial,
manufacturing or mechanical engineering.
