KTA has internship opportunity in the Human Resources Department located in Pittsburgh, PA.  This position is open to all candidates with the following qualifications:
 

Education and Experience:

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university with a major or minor in Human Resource Management
     

Knowledge/Abilities/Skills:


  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Good computer skills (MS Word and Excel)
  • Excellent telephone etiquette
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Good typing skills

 

Physical Requirements:


  • Ability to speak and hear
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time
  • Clear enunciation

    Responsibilities:

  • Attend Employee Recognition, Wellness and Fundraising meetings
  • Assist in coordination of employee events
  • Assist in the applicant tracking and phone interviewing process
  • Work on special projects including wellness program, benefits open enrollment, EEOC requirement tracking, etc.
  • Perform miscellaneous administrative duties including writing letters and answering phones
