Qualifications:
·
Must have proven
record for complying with safety requirements, and an ability to build a
culture of safety among subordinates and peers.

A college degree
or equivalent work experience is preferred.
Familiarity with distribution center operations, power equipment (e.g.
forklift, reach truck, yard truck), and previous warehouse experience is a
plus.
·
Candidate must
have leadership and supervisory experience, and successfully manage multiple
tasks simultaneously.
·
Demonstrated
team-building skills and ability to build rapport and trust with others is a
must.
·
Candidate will
have experience and willingness to mentor and coach others, as well as an
ability to resolve interpersonal conflicts among team members.
·
Must be able to
approach change optimistically, as well as adjust quickly and proficiently to
changing work environments.
·
Must possess
analytical and creative problem-solving skills, as well as an ability to
troubleshoot and resolve complex problems.
·
Basic computer
skills and a working knowledge of Microsoft Office required. Experience with software applications like
Excel, Access, or DMS is preferred.
·
Candidate must be
able to lift up to 70 lbs.
·
Candidate must be
able to communicate and listen effectively, read and follow instructions, and
take direction from others.
·
Must be able to
perform detail-oriented tasks in a stressful, fast-paced working environment.
·
Ability to
prioritize work and manage time is required.
·
Candidate must be
goal-oriented and highly motivated towards the Operation’s success.

An ability to
learn new tasks and quickly apply new skill is required; excellent critical
thinking, oral, written communication, and computer skills are preferred.

possess basic math and reading comprehension.
Position
Description:
·
Ensure all team
members comprehend and execute safe practices.
·
Monitor team
member performance and ensure team members are executing assigned tasks
accurately and as scheduled.
·
Monitor staffing
needs for shifts, and adjust work to be accomplished on the shift according to
available resources and skill sets.
·
Mentor and build
relationships with team members, record planned encounters, and complete annual
reviews.
·
Conduct shift
briefing, including safety topics, upcoming events, and demand for the day.
·
Expedite
receiving, picking, and shipping of priority product (e.g. Special Order
Express (S.O.E) or Special Order Sales (S.O.S.)).
·
Communicate
effectively with team members regarding business objectives or current issues.
·
Set Team Members
up for success; achieve or exceed key performance indicators, safety,
performance and budget targets; record daily performance metrics.
·
Complete all
incident reports of product damaged in-house; complete accident reports for
team member injuries.
·
Record off
standard hours for Team Members.
·
Promote safety in
the work environment; complete safety observations.
·
Discuss and
resolve issues with team members or issues between team members.
·
Prepare team
members for upward promotion if interested.
·
Prepare shift
turn over documentation.
·
Direct resolution
to equipment issues (for example, replace failed equipment or contact
Maintenance)
·
Identify and
assist in implementing process improvements
·
Respond to
incidents or injuries with first aid, as trained.
