Internship With Giant Eagle
Purpose
There are two (2) temporary opportunities in the Giant Eagle Technology Service Desk.
Here are the details:
- The Giant Eagle Technology Service Desk (TSD) is an internal help desk. TSD Analysts receive calls and web cases from internal Giant Eagle Team Members who require technology support. We field 350 – 450 calls per day and approximately 11,000 per month. The TSD provides support 24/7 364 days per year and supports 400+ applications, devices, infrastructures.
- Idea Candidate should:
- Going to school or have a technical degree, technical experience, or a strong technical foundation.
- Be flexible and willing to work daylight, evenings, and weekends. Once trained, they will be given a set-schedule to work.
- Be Available to work 40 hours per week. If it is the right candidate, I will be flexible. However, I am truly looking for 40 hours.
- Previous Help Desk/Call Center or Retail Experience is a plus.
- Training and Mentoring will be provided.
- There is the possibility of Full-Time Permanent Employment
- Candidates who are offered the position will be referred to our temporary agency. The potential Team Member will work at Giant Eagle; however, they will be employed by The Callos Company.
- The pay rate is $9 - $10 per hour and will be determined based on background and experience.
