Young Leaders Opportunity in Non Profit Organizations

Interested in making a positive impact in your community? Looking to jump start your career in the non profit sector?

Public Allies Pittsburgh is a signature AmeriCorps program that advances new leadership to strengthen communities, nonprofits and civic participation. Allies serve the community of local nonprofit organizations, and participate in a rigorous leadership development program throughout the 10-months of the program.

We are currently seeking dynamic, passionate, and diverse young people to join the 2012- 2013 class.

Great Benefits:
• Allies receive $1,400/month stipend
• Free health insurance & childcare
• Interest-free student loan deferment
• $5,550 post-service Education Award

Qualifications:
• Be at least 17 years of age
• Have at least a high school diploma or GED,
• Be a US Citizen or legal resident
• Have a passion to MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Early applications are due April 6th, 2012.
Selected Allies will serve from September 2012 to June 2013.
