Job Description:
WJAS,
WMNY (Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania) is seeking an individual to sell
advertising to area businesses. Account Managers are responsible for
maintaining existing client
relationships while aggressively cultivating new business through
ongoing prospecting activities. Successful candidates must possess
exceptional communication, presentation, and negotiation skills. They
must be self-motivated, goal-driven, and creative, with
the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Manage
all aspects of client’s accounts from initial contact through
collections and renewal; be able generate direct and non-traditional
business to foster revenue growth
for the station.
Qualifications:
Minimum
2 years of Marketing/Sales experience OR equivalent, with excellent
business development and problem-solving skills; should be highly
motivated with a deep desire
to sell and have a proven record of sales success. Business to Business
or Media Advertising experience is preferred. Equal Opportunity
