Interns in our offices receive a firsthand look at how policy is formed and implemented as well as how Senate offices assist and connect with constituents. These experiences are a great introduction to public service and the work of the United States Senate.
Intern in Pennsylvania Description
Pennsylvania internships are available for college and graduate students in all of Senator Casey’s state offices: Allentown, Erie, Harrisburg, Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Scranton, and State College.
Interns in Pennsylvania assist the Senator’s state staff with a variety of duties, including community outreach, correspondence, monitoring news outlets for daily developments, assisting with event staffing, and assigned special projects. Applicants should possess poise and professional behavior, and demonstrate an interest in government service and assisting the people of Pennsylvania.
