Volunteer Opportunities for the Christmas Season

- bell ringers

- helping with toys/food box preparations and distribution

Part Time Opportunities

Social worker

• take care of helping clients with utility/rent financial assistance process
• doing client applications for Christmas program (this will be online form)
• sharing resources for services we do not provide
• doing statistic reports for client services and grant money used
• helping with Food Bank distribution days

Start date would be ASAP after application, interview and HR process completed. This position would be permanent PT, but will entertain a PT temporary (3-month) position through to the end of the Christmas season.

Maintenance worker

• would be someone who is able to troubleshoot, solve, and maintain situations around the building – plumbing, electrical, repair work
• helping with Food Bank distribution days (dock oversight)
• grass/snow removal, sidewalk/lot clearing
• misc. maintenance tasks as needed.

Clearances are required, plus a SA Safe from Harm training
