Assistant Teacher Position at Appleseed Learning Center
Appleseed Learning Center, a Keystone STAR 4 facility, is seeking students majoring in early childhood education and/or child development who wish to gain experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. We have immediate openings for full time, part-time, and substitute positions as assistant teachers. Job Title: Assistant Teacher, $15/hour.
Responsibilities Include:
- · Assist lead teachers with daily lessons and activities.
- · Meet the individual needs of each child.
- · Interact with the children to support play, exploration, and learning.
- · Present developmentally appropriate expectations for each child’s age and developmental level.
- · Communicate appropriately and professionally with parents and fellow staff.
- · Participate in staff and training meetings.
- · Commit to continued professional development.
