Duties & Responsibilities:
Perform engineering, construction, and design assignments, requiring a solid grasp of civil engineering and the exercise of professional judgment. Typically given projects of limited complexity.
Assist Project Manager in design and solution of engineering problems, preparation of reports, economic and technical feasibility studies, and studies aimed at evaluating alternative systems, equipment, materials or engineering methods.
Perform field testing of soils, concrete, observation testing of water, sewer mains, and manholes.
Provide clear and concise documentation of all construction project activities and quantities.
Perform analyses and design required for water mains and sewers.

PRIMARY DUTIES
- Based on working knowledge of all machinery within area, perform a diversified range of moderately complex tasks related to the preparation of specimens by instrumental methods. Analyses consist of several complex steps, including type correction standards, and are completed under moderate supervision. Inspect test specimens for acceptable quality criteria, rejecting poor quality test specimens, and requesting replacement samples from internal customers as required. Prepare test specimens for analysis using various equipment.
- Perform physical/analytical tests to ensure quality control using various methods including ICP/OES (primary) Microtrac, Sieve Analysis, Sample Preparation, and Combustion Analysis (C,S, N, O, H).
- Perform prescribed routine preventative maintenance checks, corrective maintenance and make adjustments as required on various sample preparation machinery and auxiliary equipment. Register new test specimens into the electronic laboratory management system. Properly identify samples and retain or discard these samples according to standard operating procedure. Accurately perform analysis of furnace and product specimens. Maintain these instruments according to intervals required by SOP. Review test data and apply appropriate corrections based on certified reference material analyses or other statistical means.

Key Responsibilities:
The Coatings Engineering Department provides
project support, computerized process control, and integration engineering
services. Our engineers leverage their expertise and knowledge of
computer process control systems and automation across multiple facilities. As
a member of this department you will be working in a team environment on
process control automation projects mainly for batch and semi-batch type
operations. The PPG Coatings Engineering process control group has standardized
on Allen Bradley Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) systems.
Essential Job Duties:

Community Corrections Monitor - Renewal Inc

Individual will maintain building security and reentrant accountability.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining order within the facility by enforcing rules and regulations, performing headcounts, search and seizure, urinalysis collection and testing, alcolyser screening, detaining reentrants if necessary, reentrant processing, reentrant escorts, use of NIK Narcotics Identification System tests, use of Drug Ionizer and assist with K-9 unit if necessary.
Community Correction Monitors will also be required to work closely with local law enforcement agencies, the Allegheny County Jail, Pennsylvania Department of Corrections and Federal Bureau of Prisons.
