This is a great opportunity for someone who
is mechanically inclined, enjoys dealing with customers, and likes variety
in their work. Duties will be initially split between the shipping
department (50%) and the instrument repair/service department (50%). This is a
"growth position," with more responsibilities and assignments added
for superior performance and dedication.
Responsibilities:
1.
Handles
all aspects of shipping orders (sales/repairs)
2.
Assign/record
(in log books) each order, inventory destination
3.
Works
closely w/ operations manager to ensure accurate, efficient inventory control,
conducting inventory cycle counts when assigned
4.
Receives,
documents and distributes all incoming packages for KTA personnel
5.
Works
with service provider’s (UPS, Fed Ex) to stay up to date on all programs that
could benefit KTA
6.
All
other duties as assigned
Instrument Service Technician
1.
Entry
level technician role
2.
Unpack,
document goods, contact customer upon receipt.
3.
Evaluate
incoming items for certification, or send out for repair within a 48 hour
period.
4.
Work
with service manager to generate Vendor purchase orders
5.
Notify
customer and obtain PO’s, payment information for all Certified/Re-paired
goods.
6.
Work
with S&R clerk to process orders on a daily basis
7.
Notify
Service Manager immediately upon customer complaints
