I have several job descriptions for degreed graduates…Buyer, Customer Service Rep and Program Coordinator. (Customer Service Rep does not require a degree, but it is preferred.) We also would have an interest in graduates of the Electro-Mechanical Engineering Technology program. These grads could fit into Production and Maintenance Management training positions. We would also consider intern programs in that degree area.

Buyer - Position Summary
Manage the supply chain activities by providing functional leadership that promotes consistency of thought and action relative to purchasing for the Menasha Packaging operations in the Yukon Complex in compliance with corporate governance, policies and savings objectives.
Key Responsibilities
The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties; however, it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Oversees the solicitation of all competitive quotations and issuance of purchase orders.
2. Participates in the Menasha Packaging Purchasing Group’s formulation and implementation of purchasing strategies, policies, guidelines, systems and standards designed to strengthen the materials acquisition process consistent with Menasha Packaging’s philosophy and strategic plans.
3. Optimizes purchasing leverage by implementing cost effective arrangements for materials, supplies, equipment and services.
4. Implements consolidated supplier rationalization where possible.
5. Maintains effective relationships with key suppliers to obtain the best total value, and sustain a supplier evaluation program to accurately measure supplier performance in accordance with established corporate programs and ISO 9000 requirements.
6. Implements and supports supply management programs and projects designed to generate significant cost reductions related to the purchase of production and non-production materials, supplies, equipment and services.
7. Focuses all purchasing efforts towards a single goal of maximizing both internal and external customer satisfaction by providing total quality, cycle time reductions, inventory reductions and lowest total cost, while effectively consolidating the supply base.
8. Utilizes the corporate SAP, BVP and EAM automated purchasing programs. Recommends or suggests revisions to Home Office to improve these systems as applicable.
9. Recommends spending approval levels to Home Office for individuals using company Procurement Cards.
10. Other current duties: Yukon plant Safety Team member. ISO 9001-2000 internal quality auditor.
11. Exercises purchase authority up to $50,000.
