Immediate Opening...

Our agency provides in-home behavioral health services in Beaver and surrounding Counties. We have recently received a grant to begin a mentoring program which will link college students with high school students who are in foster care. The object of the program is to increase high school graduation rates, while preparing the students for the real world and hopefully getting them excited about the possibility of continuing their education after graduation. At this point, I am looking for a coordinator to oversee the program. The candidate must have a college degree. We would prefer graduates who already have their FBI, State Police, and Childline clearances. We need someone who can both manage a program, and recruit and excite mentors. Experience working with youth is a plus. Starting salary is in the $35,000 ballpark, but additional funds may become available next year, and there is opportunity for program growth. I am going to make the hiring decision by the end of next week. If you have anyone that fits this bill, please let me know. (received 9/6/11)
