Position: Coordinator, College Relations
Location: New York, NY

Job Description: COLLEGE RELATIONS COORDINATOR, HUMAN RESOURCES DEPARTMENT
Description: Duties include (but are not limited to):
•Prescreen, interview and place intern candidates for MTV Networks/Viacom Corporate NYC and various regions
•On boarding logistics for MTVN/Viacom Interns
•Partner with team to plan and facilitate internal and external events related to College Relations, including but not limited to: intern orientation, intern forums, on campus recruitment, networking events, college visits
•Maintain and develop relationships with students/interns, external organizations, internal staff, colleges/universities
•Ad hoc department projects (i.e. social networking/marketing efforts)
•Light lifting (i.e. boxes, supplies)
Required Qualifications/Skills:
•Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field
•Must be able to handle high volume recruiting; experience with full cycle recruitment is ideal
•Minimum 1-3 years experience (strong internship experience in related area is acceptable)
•Excellent written and verbal skills; Strong multi-tasking skills and experience in a fast paced environment; Strong organizational and administrative skills; Responsive, flexible, self-motivated, professional; Detail and deadline oriented with great time management skills; Able to work autonomously yet be an effective team player
•Excellent computer skills, including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Internet research
•Must be comfortable working with large groups and have strong presentation skills
•Ability to travel - on average 15% during school year

Desired Qualifications/Skills:
•Experience with any of the following areas: college relations, recruiting, human resources, admissions, career services
•Strong interest in media and Human Resources
•Experience interviewing candidates
•Strong problem solving and analytical skills
•Previous experience with customer service and dealing with high volume of people
•Basic knowledge of software programs (i.e. Photoshop, Illustrator, Publisher)
•Knowledge of social networking platforms (i.e. Twitter, Facebook, Linked In)
•Knowledge of SharePoint development and Taleo
